  1. eye Smart Communications Service (“eye3 Service”) is provided by us, Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited. eye3 Service is available only to certain areas and residential buildings and the provision of which is subject to relevant terms and conditions. Customers must install and use the designated eye3 Service continuously for at least 24 months (“Commitment Period”) in order to get one Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 8” LTE (“eye3 Device”) as loyalty gift. Customers may receive the relevant installation premium after installation of the eye3 Service, depending on which eye3 Service and which Residential Telephone Line Service (if applicable) the Customer has subscribed to. Customers may terminate the eye3 Service contract by giving us no less than 30 days’ prior written notice via a designated form; but if Customers terminate the eye3 Service or the eye3 Service is terminated due to any breach of the terms and conditions by Customers before the expiry of the Commitment Period, Customers will be liable to pay to us an Early Termination Charge for the eye3 Service and (i) HK$2,900 for eye3 Device; (ii) the total recommended retail price of the relevant installation premium that the Customer has received (if applicable), and all offers and/or privileges under the eye3 Service will cease immediately from the date of such termination. We may amend or terminate the eye3 Service contract at any time; but if it causes any material disadvantage to Customers, or if it results in an increase in the Customers’ monthly rates, Customers may terminate the eye3 Service without incurring any Early Termination Charge and cancellation charge. Most pre-installed application in eye3 Device are provided by third party providers. We reserve the right to change any pre-installed application of the eye3 Service without prior notice. We reserve the right to amend or terminate this offer or its terms and conditions without any prior notice. Should any dispute arise, our decision shall be final. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
  2. Samsung Electronics H.K. Co., Ltd. will provide free warranty service to parts of the eye3 Device (Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 8" LTE) for the following specified period from the commencement date of the Commitment Period (“Warranty Period”) with production of a valid job completion note:
    (a) the Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 8" LTE device and AC-DC power adaptor: 12 months
    (b) battery: 12 months

  3. We reserve the right to change the designated information service(s) and preinstalled applications on the eye3 Device as included in any individual specific eye3 Service without any prior notice. Android applications pre-installed onto eye3 Device and Google Play service are provided by third parties. We will not be liable for any claims, losses or damages arising from or in connection with any use of the application programs preloaded and/ or Google Play service (including but not limited to any damages to the eye3 Device). Enjoy Internet service on eye3 Device (minimum 1Mbps downstream bandwidth). Bandwidth specification refers to network specifications of the subscribed eye3 Service for the broadband line connected from the modem at your Premises to the first piece of network equipment or central office of the NETVIGATOR network. Bandwidth specifications correspond to a maximum dedicated downstream bandwidth of 6Mbps and a maximum dedicated upstream bandwidth of 640kbps. The actual speed you experience using the eye3 Service will be less than the network specifications and affected by your device, technology, network and software used, network configuration and coverage, usage levels, international bandwidth and extraneous factors. The Wi-Fi service provided by eye3 Service can only be used by eye3 Device at the service installation address. The use of Wi-Fi service outside the installation address is not included.
  4. 12-month i-GUARD Phone & Tablet Repair Plan (“Repair Plan”) is provided by HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited, subject to relevant terms and conditions. For details, please visit i-Guard’s website: www.i-guard.hk. This Repair Plan is applicable for drop / crush / liquid / water damage, broken screen or one-time only subsidy to purchase a new device for total damage. This Repair Plan is only applicable to customers subscribed and installed designated eye3 Service plan. The customer must complete registration at http://www.i-guard.hk/eng/uad-register/ by himself / herself within 30 days from the installation date of eye3 Service to activate this Repair Plan. i-GUARD hotline : 8209 0098
  5. Residential Telephone Line Service and Deluxe Package B (comprises of Abbreviated Dialing, Additional Abbreviated Dialing, Appointment Service, Do-Not-Disturb, Caller Display, Call Waiting I, Local Call Transfer Conference8, Block-the-Blocker, Music on Hold and Follow Me.) can be used within the eye3 Service’s service installation address only, whilst Wi-Fi connection with the designated broadband router can be established.
  6. Customer can receive or make free local video calls from/to eye3 Service / eye Home Tablet Communication Package / eye Home Smartphone Package / eye2 Communication Package / eye Multimedia Service (collectively, “eye Series”) / eligible mobile service customers of 1O1O / csl / SUN Mobile services (video call is applicable to designated network and mobile phone / device which support video call) during the Commitment Period. Eligible mobile service customers of 1O1O / csl (except CSL pre-paid SIM) or SUN Mobile services can also receive or make free local video calls from/to eye Series’ customers (until further notice). In addition, Customer can receive/make local video calls from/to other mobile network(s) when there is an interconnection facility established with the relevant 3G mobile service operator(s) at a service charge of HK$2 per minute per video call received / made. Usage time is based on one minute per unit and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Currently, the available mobile networks are networks provided by csl. Please call our hotline at 2888 0008 for further details regarding the definition of eligible mobile service customers of 1O1O / csl / Sun Mobile.
  7. Unlimited free local SMS from eye3 Service to eye Series / eligible mobile service customers of 1O1O / csl / SUN Mobile services The rate of sending each SMS from eye3 Service to other local mobile networks (except 1O1O / csl / SUN Mobile service networks) is HK$0.50 per SMS. The rate of sending each international SMS via eye3 Service is HK$1.50 per SMS. International SMS is only applicable to designated countries including Canada, England, China (eye3 Device cannot receive international SMS from China pre-paid phone card), Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Macau and Philippines and is subject to additional charges.
  8. Local Call Transfer Conference is applicable to parallel phone line only.
